Welcome to the Pictbridge page, for easy printing there is a feature called Pictbridge which allows you to connect a Pictbridge digital camera to any Pictbridge printer and print directly from the digital camera.
The beauty of Pictbridge is that you can connect your Pictbridge digital camera to any brand of Pictbridge printer. With dock printers you are usually limited to the same brand as the printers are designed to have specific cameras attached to them. But with Pictbridge you can connect to any printer so you are not limited to the printer that you can use. The printer will have to have the Pictbridge feature though and this uses a USB cable for the connection.
Once the Pictbridge digital camera and printer are connected a menu will appear on the digital camera's LCD screen with the printing options. These can vary and it depends on what features the Pictbridge printer has and they include printing single photos, all photos and also editing photos before printing.
